Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, along with Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili and Head of State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, is in Antakya, Hatay province, Republic of Turkey.
Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, Vakhtang Gomelauri and other members of the delegation met with Georgian rescuers, who are carrying out earthquake liquidation and rescue measures in the city of Antakya in Turkey.
The delegation, under the leadership of the head of government, visited the local center of coordination of crisis situations and disaster management of the Republic of Turkey, where they were informed about the liquidation and rescue measures of the consequences of the earthquake.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Suleyman Soylu, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, the Minister of Environment Protection, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum and the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Turkish Parliament, Chaghatay Kilic, were present.
The head of the government and the Minister of Internal Affairs thanked the Georgian firefighters.

It is very hard what you see on the screen, but when you see it with your own eyes, it is much harder. Our rescuers are experienced and highly trained. I want to say thank you to each of them, I am proud when they tell us: thank you guys for working so hard. Everyone was asking, where are the Georgians, help us, and this makes me proud. Once again, thank you very much to them", - you know that from that day, that very morning, on the order of Mr. Prime Minister, our rescuers and equipment mobilized and headed to the epicenter from the morning", - said the Minister of Internal Affairs while talking to journalists.
The Georgian delegation headed by the Prime Minister includes Minister of Internal Affairs - Vakhtang Gomelauri, Head of the State Security Service - Grigol Liluashvili, Head of Government Administration - Revaz Javelidze and Head of Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Teimuraz Mghebrishvili.
